Aluminium Recycling

Aluminum recycling is the process of reclaiming and reprocessing aluminum materials, such as cans, cables and scrap, to reduce waste and conserve energy. Our facility efficiently collects and processes aluminum, ensuring it is melted down and transformed into new products. Recycling aluminum saves up to 95% of the energy required to produce new aluminum from raw materials, making it an eco-friendly choice. Join us in supporting sustainability—recycle your aluminum responsibly!

Why Recycle Aluminum?

Aluminum is 100% recyclable, which means it can be recycled indefinitely without losing any of its quality. Recycling just one aluminum can save enough energy to power a television for up to three hours. Plus, the recycling process uses 95% less energy compared to producing new aluminum from raw materials. This makes aluminum recycling an efficient and eco-friendly choice.

The Aluminum Recycling Process

  1. Collection: Aluminum products like cans, foil, and packaging are collected through curbside recycling programs, recycling centers, or industrial waste streams.

  2. Sorting: Once collected, aluminum is sorted from other materials. Advanced technologies like magnetic separation help ensure only aluminum is processed.

  3. Shredding & Cleaning: The sorted aluminum is then shredded into small pieces, which are cleaned to remove any contaminants such as paint or coatings.

  4. Melting: These clean pieces are melted in a furnace at high temperatures. This step requires only a fraction of the energy needed to produce aluminum from ore.

  5. Forming & Casting: The molten aluminum is cast into large blocks, known as ingots, which can be rolled or shaped into new products like cans, foil, or even car parts.

  6. Reuse: The recycled aluminum is ready to be turned into new products, beginning the cycle all over again!
